What do I need to get started?
Your website and a Gmail account. Pen reads your site, suggests your ideal customers, and you confirm. Setup takes about ten minutes.
When can I start using Pen?
We are opening in small groups so every early user gets a proper setup. Join the waitlist and we will email you when it is your turn.
Will Pen send emails without asking me?
No. Every email waits for your approval. You can switch on auto approve later, but it is always off to start.
Will this hurt my email domain?
Pen protects it: a daily limit you control, every address checked before sending, emails spread through the day, and plain text with no tracking links. For higher volumes we will help you set up a second domain.
Where does Pen find prospects?
From public business sources such as company websites and professional directories, matched to the customers you described. Anyone who opts out is never contacted through Pen again.
What happens when someone replies?
Replies land in your own inbox, like any other email, so you continue the conversation yourself. Pen lets you mark replies so your reports stay accurate.
Is cold email legal?
In the US, emailing businesses is legal when the email is honest, says who you are, includes your business address and gives an easy way to opt out. Pen adds the opt out to every email. Rules differ in other countries, so Pen starts with US prospects.
